Olomòc pits numerous factions against one another, each driven by its own motivations. Each faction is made up of several characters (Cogs). Depending on their personal motivations and life stories, these characters may belong to one or more factions.
Below, you’ll find all the playable factions, along with the Cogs that make up their ranks.
This page will be updated as new content is released for the game.
MAISEL LEAGUE
Daniel Maisel, a strange and mystical figure from the first cell of the Dykovian Cabal, has never ceased to voice his opposition to methods he considers too soft and indirect. He therefore decides to found a more radical resistance group, ready to use the enemy’s own weapons for the greater good.
His knowledge notably enabled him to create a Harmonium capable of binding an Other to his cause…

DYKOVIAN CABAL
The Dykovian Cabal is an informal resistance group made up of citizens who are sceptical of the Administration. Despite their widely differing personalities and roles, they are united by their thirst for truth and the respect they hold for their founder: Minar, the clockmaker of Old Prague. The Dykovian Cabal meticulously gathers and compiles data and information. Each revelation is another piece of a puzzle that gradually takes shape, deepening their understanding of the hidden truths behind the Artifact and the Administration.

THE OTHERS
Sometimes, the patterns covering the Axes begin to emit a pale glow. An ominous sound tears through the silence—powerful, deep and monotonous, half-organic, half-mechanical.
After a few minutes, the Spire opens, spewing forth an eerie light. When this happens, the surrounding population rushes into the underground shelters, seals the entrances and waits, praying to the God-Object for the turmoil to end quickly—for it means that the Others are here.

URKARAS FAMILY
The Gypsies survived the arrival of the God-Object by radically adapting their way of life, developing new customs, and learning to survive the Night beyond the Blocs. The Urkàrăs are the largest and most thriving family among their people, with several renowned caravans. Specialising in the performing arts in all their forms, from the crudest to the most refined, they maintain special wagons that can be transformed in the blink of an eye into an improvised theatre stage or a pneumatic carousel capable of entertaining the inhabitants of the Blocs. Few people know, however, that their wagons conceal one of the most coveted relics of the Occult War being waged on Earth…

WOLVES OF LIBUS
Made up of four clans—Goran, Borgo, Dargan, and Dragomir—structured according to an almost feudal system, the members of the Moldavian underworld value honour, strength, and blood. They rule the Libus district, in the south-eastern Karst, unchallenged, allowing them to conduct their illicit activities undisturbed and beyond the watchful eye of the Administration.

RUBIN NETWORK
Rubin is a resistance network based in the heart of the Prague Block, fighting against the Administration. Founded by three veteran resistance fighters, it brings together women and men willing to risk their lives to secure for the people of Prague the rightful freedom denied to them by the Diktat. By bloodshed, if necessary.

BLOCKHAUS DEVET
Flooded and stricken by extreme poverty, devastated since the first cycle of the Long Night, neglected by the Administration and riddled with organized crime, Devět is all of these things at once. At the time of the Advent, the Morena Axis plunged deep into the Vltava upstream from the district, forcing the river to spill into the area and transforming it into an archipelago. Ground floors were abandoned to the waters, and boats took over the streets. This first cataclysm had barely been absorbed when a nuclear warhead, deflected by the Artifact, struck the heart of Devět. Even today, this irradiated zone, with its treacherous currents and vitrified ground, bears the silhouettes of the victims, seared into the walls for eternity. Whether natural or artificial, the hundreds of islands that make up the district vary greatly in size, composition, terrain, and purpose. An islet of just a few square metres may serve as a refuge for a solitary fisherman, while others are home to shops, harbours, craftsmen’s workshops, taverns, and more. The largest and best-known island lies to the north and is called “the Butte.” Across its few square kilometres, the impoverished population crowds into makeshift shelters, making use of every available patch of land. It is here that the Administration’s main buildings can be found: the Friedhof Dispensary, run by the Directorate of Integrity and focused more on prevention than treatment; the Grébovka Enclave, the inaccessible stronghold of the mysterious Prefect Sibenk; and finally, on a neighbouring islet, the worst posting imaginable for a Prague Black Guard after the Line: Blockhaus DEVET.
