YOU ARE HUMANITY’S LAST HOPE

Night has fallen over the world. Earth has been swallowed by the Artifact, an impossible object that emerged from the depths of space and time. It folded itself around the planet in a cosmic embrace, replacing the sky and the stars.

Condemned to regression, humanity has splintered into islands of light. The population has withdrawn behind the fortified walls of autonomous city-states known as Blocks. There, they obey the dictates of the Administration, an authoritarian supranational structure that officially works to preserve the human race in collaboration with the enigmatic Artifact.

Crushed beneath the constraints of this new order, men and women nevertheless carry on with their lives. They work, fight, suffer, love, believe, and hope. Some begin to doubt.

For these dissidents, these nonconformists, it is not merely a matter of breaking their chains. It is about dispelling the night and the lies, venturing deep into the Artifact to uncover the secret of its origins, and undertaking a Promethean quest that will bring a new dawn to humanity.
